How the desk handles what you send

If you write a letter or subscribe, Frontpage stores your name, email address, and the message on the same server as the site, so the desk can read it and reply. A copy is also mailed to the studio inbox. We keep the network address of the submission to limit abuse. We do not sell addresses, and we do not use them for anything other than this journal.

The letter and subscribe forms use Google reCAPTCHA (the “I’m not a robot” checkbox) to turn away scripts. Google receives the check under its own terms. Editor sign-in uses Google as well. Only email addresses on the desk list can publish. Everyone else can read the issues without an account.

To ask for a correction, or to be removed from the subscriber list, use the letter form or write to the studio address published there. We will update the page or the list.
